This album is very nostalgic for me, as it's the first album that pushed me into the overall world of Death and Black metal. I remember being dissatisfied with most mainstream metal bands, thinking that I could never be an actual metalhead, because Disturbed and bands like them sounded too soft and fragile. But Anaal Nathrakh blew my mind, introducing me to a soundscape that was raw, carnal, and heavy as hell. This album nearly dislocated my spine when I was 17. And I am very thankful for that. barlface
One of Anaal Nathrakh crowning achievements, everything is in the right place: the melodies, the chaos, the grind riffs, the vocals...
It's just too good Metaga
